Cognac!" >

1. The News It
might happen that your wife welcomes you with a positive pregnancy test after
you returned from a week in Florida and met your family at your cabin at the Baltic
Sea. She then will tell you that she already visited a doctor at your vacation
place where they saw a heart beating. Wonderful, you'll get a 2nd child! Two
weeks later you might want to spend another day of your vacation in accompanying
your wife while she goes to the doctor. This time the doctor close to your cabin
at the Baltic Sea will see two hearts beating at the ultrasound scan. Fine, you
think, you'll get a 2nd and 3rd child. It
then might happen that - since you have so much time while on vacation - you go
to the doctor at the Baltic Sea a third time. This will be the day when she looks
to the ultrasound scan and says: "Ick gloob ick krieg's am Kopp!", which
is hard German slang and means something like: "I think I'll get something
on my head!" While you think what she might mean she points to three beating
hearts on the ultrasound monitor. Wonderful: Now you know that you should finish
your vacation and not visit this doctor again - who knows how many beating hearts
she might see the next time! However: It might also not happen too often that
a doctor says to a pregnant woman: "Well, good buy, good luck, give us a
note when the kids are born. And now go home and enjoy a glass of Cognac!" >
